|
The largest
and longest-running women's film and video festival in the US.
Since 1980, Women in the Director's Chair's Annual Festival has
brought an astounding array of films, videos and other media by
diverse artists to audiences from throughout the Midwest.
|
|
Each
year, the Festival draws on the energy and insights of a diverse group of
women, girls and transgendered people of varied backgrounds to
view, discuss, debate, review, envision, examine, interpret, appreciate,
question, struggle over and ultimately determine the films and
videos that will show that year. The goal of the festival is to
create a space in which a plurality of visions, representing an
array of cultural, political and personal priorities, results
in exchange and interaction.
